July/August Mission Rpeort
Words from Team Lead Danielle
Hello everybody, we are back on track after some 'holidays' vibes. Some of the crew members were on holiday, some left as they changed locations and we have a new member integrating our crew. You will discover her bio in our next mission report.
To go back to what we have discovered on English Planet; we have combined the months of July & August. Hoping you will enjoy our findings interesting and entertaining.

TCTC's Missions
- Following the LearningTeens BBC Activity 'What's in a name?'; we looked for the meaning and origins of our names on the web. We had loads of fun as we discovered funny facts about our own names and those of our friends.
- We discussed our blog project creation. We believe it's a great idea as we can show to our parents what we are doing.
- Speaking Ladder; created by Yann, during one of our mission "Create your own game". The game is to answer a question with at least 3 arguments in 2 groups. The best argument will bring the group up the ladder. Being 2 groups, we had to choose a name for each group and the names were funny as they were about food: KFC and TUC!!!
- We tried to take a picture of the crew team for the blog, but there were so many 'problems' like the light was not good enough, one crew member moved, not a good profile. Finally, we took it and that was funny. A great mission!!!
- We shared information about ourselves so that we can learn a little more about each other.
- We found the crew's name by making a brainstorming of adjectives and go for a vote. We finally voted "The Crazy Teens Crew".
- In another mission, we brainstormed about our dream school individually and we shared our ideas. It was really cool and funny as we used our imagination a lot.
- This mission was a group game activity: Names of months. We had to find the origins & meaning of months by using 3 facts given to us on flashcards; after reading and discussing the facts, we had to write whether they were true or not according to the month. Then Team Lead Danielle would give us the right answer. It was a very interesting activity as some origins and facts were weird.
So here it is for our July/August Mission report, hoping you will enjoy our discovery fun learning...
